Kony 2012, and why I bought a pack.

I have been putting off giving my thoughts on the Kony 2012 campaign. My Kony 2012 pack arrived a few days ago. This is the reason why I ordered one.

Why You Should Go Travelling

I am in my final days as a student in Manchester, and thus I have become quite reflective. Nearly four years ago I arrived, fresh faced and anxious to meet new people, learn new things and experience all that university had to offer. Today however, my first and second years of my university career remain only as vague and distant memories. Much of my time is now spent planning for my future. After all, I am on the precipice of entering the big bad world as a graduate.

But one thing remains, the one thing that I shall never forget from my university career. That is, my 12 months in Argentina. All that remains now is this blog, which despite the passing of time, and the fading of memories, burns brightly as a reminder of what I experienced.

Facebook Timeline and Deleting my Facebook History.

I joined Facebook in 2006. It's been love hate relationship with all the transformations that have taken place. Now Facebook has taken a huge new step, in the creation of the Timeline profile. It is now possible to see every aspect of a person's Facebook history. If you are concerned about what people might find out about you from 5 years ago, tough. Anyone can now go back years into your past. 

For that reason I have just spent the last 4 hours removing large portions of my activity from my new Facebook 'Timeline.' I'll admit it, yeah, I am a little self conscious about what I posted on Facebook as a 17 year old. But if you aren't, then you have no shame.

Hello again! Firstly I must apologise for my lack of entries, this has been due to poor Internet, a busy schedule and general laziness.

A Penny for My Thoughts

Blogging I have found to be quite a rigorous process. It has forced me to take stock of my life, and what goes on within it. I have never been one for writing a diary, noting down thoughts, or recording moments in my life. Fortunately my blog now does this for me to an extent. As can be seen from my recent posts, my life has been somewhat without major event of late; my posts have been more contemplative than anecdotal. Unfortunately, I still haven't disciplined myself to note down the hundreds of different thoughts that cross my mind on a daily basis.

A Political Message, From The Curious Englishman

I woke up this morning, to find Wikipedia blocked. It appears a protest is under way, against a potential sweeping new law that could change the face of the Internet.
